St. Cecilia's has long had a Parish Council which collaborated with the pastor in developing the Parish Mission Statement and overseeing its implementation through various committees and organizations. We are currently updating and simplifying our parish structures with a smaller Parish Leadership Board (whose name, modified on January 21st, 2016 to Parish Community Council, and structure are yet to be finalized (Proposal for Leadership Board) which will also help us refocus our committees into ministry teams to continue this work of oversight and support.

As a parish within the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, St. Cecilia's is incorporated independently in the State of Minnesota as a non-profit corporation. Our pastor and two parish members who serve as Trustees (and as corporate secretary and treasurer) are members of our Board of Directors along with the representatives of the Archdiocese.
Building Policy Update

The parish Finance Committee develops the parish budget and reviews adherence to it. In managing all parish assets, there is a goal to create a sub-committee to oversee parish buildings and grounds.
